Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RRCH-LABS LLP (“we”) publishes Purana Samhitha, a mythology exploration application (Android package com.rrch_labs.purana_samhitha). Registered office: My Home Vihanga, Financial District, Nanakram Guda, Hyderabad-500032, India (LLPIN ADC-2031). Questions can be sent to support@rrch-labs.com or through Feedback in the App.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Account data — email, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign in with Google or Microsoft (via Firebase Authentication)
• Purchase and entitlement data — which epic language packs you own, linked to your account so content unlocks across devices
• Device and app data — basic technical data needed to operate sync, crash reporting, and in-app purchases (for example app version and store purchase tokens handled by the platform)
• Content sync activity — which packs you download so we can serve updates you already own
• Local preferences — language, theme, and reading settings stored on your device
• Birth profile (optional) — date, time, and place of birth you enter for calendar/horoscope features, stored on your device and sent to the calendar service over HTTPS when that feature is used

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Payment processors

Digital purchases are processed by platform partners. We do not receive your full payment card or UPI credentials.

Each processor has its own privacy policy. Entitlement records (what you unlocked) are stored in our backend so signed-in devices can restore access.

4. Authentication processors

Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication with Google and/or Microsoft identity providers. Their privacy policies apply to the authentication flow.

5. How we use information

• Provide and sync mythology content packs you are entitled to
• Authenticate you and keep purchases associated with your account
• Improve reliability and security of the App (including crash reports when enabled)
• Respond to Feedback and support requests
• Meet legal and store-policy obligations

Traffic to our API uses HTTPS on public Play builds.

6. Storage and retention

• On-device content and preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall
• Account and entitlement records are retained while your account is active
• After you delete your account we remove your email, name, and sign-in identifiers and drop entitlements. Payment transaction rows may be retained without your name or email for tax and fraud prevention
• Payment details are held by Apple, Google, or Razorpay according to their policies

7. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help run the App (authentication, payments, hosting, crash reporting) under appropriate agreements, or when required by law. We do not share data for third-party advertising.

8. Your choices

• Use the App without signing in for free local content (where available); paid unlocks and cross-device restore require an account
• Sign out from Profile
• Delete your account from Profile in the App, or follow Delete your account
• Manage store purchases in Google Play or the App Store

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your country. If you believe we have collected such data in error, contact privacy@rrch-labs.com.

10. International transfers

Servers and processors may be located outside your country. We take steps appropriate to the services we use to protect information in line with applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be noted in the App when practical.
