These terms govern the App, not the corporate website. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who we are

Purana Samhitha is a mythology exploration application that provides curated educational and cultural content about Hindu mythology, including persons, stories, epics, and related catalog material.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You may use the App if you can form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Some features (such as syncing content, purchases, or saving progress) may require signing in. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial enjoyment and learning, subject to these Terms and any store rules (Apple App Store, Google Play, or other distribution platforms).

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content except as allowed by law or with our written permission
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits
Use the App to build a competing product by scraping or bulk-exporting content
Circumvent access controls, paywalls, or content-protection measures

4. Content & intellectual property

Text, images, layouts, trademarks, and software in the App are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Traditional mythological narratives themselves are part of cultural heritage; our particular compilations, wording, structure, translations, artwork, and presentation remain protected.

You may quote short excerpts for personal study or fair-use commentary with attribution to Purana Samhitha where reasonable. You may not republish substantial portions of App content as your own product or dataset.

5. Educational & cultural nature

Content is provided for education, culture, and personal enrichment. It is not religious instruction that you must follow, legal advice, medical advice, or a substitute for primary scriptures or qualified teachers. Calendar and horoscope text is cultural guidance only.

6. Purchases, subscriptions & sync

Some epics or packs may require purchase or entitlement. On Android, prices shown at checkout are the prices charged by Google Play. Purchases are handled by the platform billing system; refunds follow that platform’s policies. Content Sync and downloads may use network data; you are responsible for carrier charges.

Restore purchases and manage entitlements from Profile or the store flows provided in the App.

7. User feedback & submissions

If you send feedback, suggestions, or corrections, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the App without obligation to compensate you. Do not submit confidential or unlawful material.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting unauthorized access, disrupting services, harassing others through feedback channels, or uploading malware. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

9. Privacy

We process information needed to operate the App as described in our Privacy Policy. Contact privacy@rrch-labs.com for privacy-related requests.

10. Third-party services

The App may rely on third parties (authentication, payments, hosting, analytics, or AI features if enabled). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies outside our control.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that content is complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or that every traditional variant is represented.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP FEATURE AT ISSUE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ZERO IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

13. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App, content, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account from Profile (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, where RRCH-LABS LLP is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
